2002 Jordan EJ12

We have the pleasure of offering this 2002 Jordan EJ12 chassis no 1 launch car, first driven and tested by Takuma Sato at Silverstone then flown by DHL to Brussels international airport where it launched the 2002 Jordan F1 season on the 20th February held in the DHL hangar.

EJ12 01 is a fully operational 5 speed pneumatic paddle shift car, just this year benefited from the latest Geartronics GCU upgrade, powered by a Judd KV8 3000 Formula 3000 engine as Honda do not release their F1 engines into private ownership. This example of EJ12 has being touring Europe doing demonstrations at various race events and was at Goodwood FOS in 2016 on static display, there is also an invitation for the car to be run at this years Suzuka GP with Takuma Sato, this invitation is with the car so will transfer to the new owner.

As a demonstration car the package is complete, all original team wear and garage set up.

Everything you will need to run this car is in the package, it is fully operational and has had an onboard starter fitted for ease of running. This very modern looking but classic F1 car that can be run on a reasonable budget. The owner also has contacts for many of the original engineers involved in running the car as well.

Sale will be direct with private owner, after initial contact through ourselves, complete package can be viewed within the U.K.
