1998 Minardi M198
We are thrilled to be able to offer this incredibly original V10 Ford powered Minardi M198 chassis 01. The car was designed by Gustav Brunner for the small but innovative Italian team, lead by Giancarlo Minardi.
This particular chassis was originally driven by Esteban Tuero and Shinji Nakano during the 1998 Formula One season. It was then used in winter testing for new drivers Marc Gene and Luca Badoer later that year.
The livery was then changed by the Minardi team to the 1999 M01 livery, for show at pre 1999 season events, after a significant new sponsorship deal for the team was announced with the Spanish Telefonica brand.
Having recently undergone a comprehensive and documented rebuild, which was carried out by the our highly skilled engineering partners at Tour De Force, this is a very rare opportunity to acquire such an original specification V10 Formula One Car.
It comes with all necessary running equipment including laptop and car software, along with a spares package which includes gearboxes parts, wheels, electronics, hydraulics, bodywork, brake parts and much more, making it one of the most comprehensively supported cars we have to offer.
